Reservation Policy
A 2-night down payment is required via Visa/MasterCard/Discover Card to make reservations.
There is a 60-day cancellation policy on Cabin 24, Oaks, Pines, Chalet and Lakewood. A 30-day cancellation policy for all other cabins/condos for non-holiday reservations. 60-day cancellation policy for all holiday bookings (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years). No exceptions.
Dog Policy
Dogs welcome with a $25 fee per stay, per dog.
- Dogs must be on a leash at ALL TIMES when outside your cabin
- It is your responsibility to ensure the safety of our guests by making sure who ever is walking your dog is in control of your dog
- Please clean up after your dog throughout the grounds
- If your dog sheds excessively, please borrow a vacuum the day of your departure. Excessive dog hair will result in an extra cleaning fee.
- If your dog causes damage, an additional fee will be charged

Check-in is at 3:00 PM. Early check-in not accepted before 2:00 PM. We do not guarantee your cabin will be ready before 3:00 PM. If your cabin is ready 2–3 PM we'll let you in early.
Check-out is 10:00 AM for Cabin 24 and Condo units Oaks, Pines, Chalet and Lakewood and 11:00 AM for all other cabins/condos.
Arriving after 5:00 PM? Please call us in advance for key pickup instructions.
No fishing license is required. Our private lake is stocked with rainbow trout and also has blue gill, catfish, and large mouth bass. Our lake is for fishing and boating only — we do not allow people or dogs to swim in the lake.
Trout and Large Mouth Bass Fishing:
Trout and Bass are cold water fish. The best times to catch Trout and Bass is from Late Fall through Spring
Summer months are best for Bullhead Catfish and Blue Gill
We have row boats and a Peddle Boat available for rent approximately May 1 through October 31 (weather permitting) at $10/hour 1st hour and $5:00 each additional hour.
Due to insurance regulations, personal watercraft may no longer be used at Lake of the Woods.
Firewood is not provided for your fireplace — Firewood is sold in the office or you may bring your own. Please do not start a fire the morning of your departure.
Charcoal Grills are included for Cabins 1 through 23
Propane Grills are included for Cabins 24 through 27 and all condo units

No outdoor wood fires are allowed.
You may bring a Propane fire ring to use outdoors
(Lake of the Woods does not supply propane for personal fire rings)
WIFI, linens, towels (One set per person), kitchenware (pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils, paper towels and Salt and Pepper), 12 cup drip coffee maker, microwave, fireplace, DirecTV, charcoal or propane grill, outdoor seating. Electric heat — no A/C. Condos and Cabin 24 include dishwasher (dishwasher pods provided). Condos include row boat May 1 through October 31 (weather permitting)

No smoking inside any cabin.
No fireworks or outdoor wood fires permitted.
Quiet hours are between 9 PM and 8 AM. Please respect neighboring guests.
